One of Hy Spec’s paint inspectors carried out an inspection of two footbridges over the A90 Kingsway in Dundee. The inspector also has their IPAF certificate, meaning they could carry out the inspection from a MEWP without any issues. The inspection was to determine the condition of the current paint system and to provide recommendations. The inspection was carried out during nightshift hours within lane closures to reduce disruption to the busy carriageway.
